Gunnar’s Captain Services was founded by Captain Gunnar Williamson. He holds a 1600-ton USCG commercial license and a Master's Degree in International Business. For 15 years, Captain Gunnar lived aboard and managed luxury vessels for private and charter use with a perfect safety track record. He conducted over 60 week-long luxury charters, displayed vessels in boat shows, and developed a charter business for multiple high-end vessels. He has over 100,000 nautical miles of offshore experience on various vessels, moving them up and down the East and West coasts to the Med and Australia. 

In addition, Gunnar has managed several complete refits and excels at organizing the multiple inputs that go into a sizable job. While managing yachts in remote locations, Gunnar has learned a wide variety of skills that pertain to every onboard system. 

An overall love for the industry and the aesthetics of yachting have guided the GCS vision. All boats must be treated with care and expertise to reflect their owners and the traditions of the sea.
